Cant recieve or send text messages after number port

After I ported my number from Mint Mobile to Verizon, I am not able to send or recieve any type of messages. I only can recieve messages from verizon for some reason. I also changed my phone to the model S 23 ultra. The weird thing is that it is still sending on the old chip. Looks like it hasnt been 100% ported
