Replacing Coax Cables for ONT

Question

I would like to relocate the Fios equipment in my home.  There are two coaxial cables connected to my ONT, model I-211M-K.  Can I simply remove them and replace them with my own (factory!) cables, or would there be issues involved that I'm not aware of?  And if this is okay, is there anything I should know about, like cable type, maximum length, and so on?  I won't be doing anything with the fiber at all except running the existing fiber to the new location (the technician left a fairly good length on a spool for me).

Typically the cables connecting to the ONT belonged to the customer at the first place, so you are free to make any modifications on them. That being said. you should still be careful at not damaging the connectors on the ONT because damaging to those require an equipment swap, which may incur a $99 technician visit.
