Has ANYONE received the 5G Home Internet Promotion for Xbox Series X, $200 Amazon gift card, $100 Verizon gift card

I signed up for the promotion that when you get the plus option for the 5G Home Internet, you would receive gift cards for $200 for Amazon and $100 for Verizon, plus an Xbox Series X. When I first signed up, they said I would get an email to receive everything and I did get the email to receive the Amazon gift card. I filled everything out and clicked submit and the next screen just said I should get the gift card in 48 hours in my email. It’s been well over that and I still haven’t seen the gift card.

As far as the other promotions, I haven’t gotten an email to get the Verizon gift card or the Xbox. I’ve called support and also texted with them MULTIPLE times and every time, it’s a different response. On top of all that, when I went in to pick up my WiFi box, the agent working there told me I also was qualified for a local $50 offer (which he never specified what the actual offer was) and he signed me up for that. I haven’t received any info on what it was or how to redeem it and he sent me on my way with the 5G Internet box.

I’m keeping my hopes up that the promotion wasn’t a plan devised to get people signed up and that Verizon will actually uphold the offer. If not, I’m switching back to T-Mobile’s Internet.

If anyone has indeed received ALL of the items included in the promotion, please let me know how tell me how you got it!!!

Hey. So when you went to the store to pick up your VZ Gateway, did the rep cancel your online order and reprocess it in store? I ask because that $50 credit is a instore only offer. The Xbox and the Amazon Gift card is an Online only offer. Meaning, to get the Xbox and Amazon gift card, your internet gateway has to be ordered through the app or VZ website and NOT processed instore on a rep’s tablet.

I signed up on 12/18/23 around 6 am or so because of the great offer of XBox, $200 Amazon Gift Card, and $100 rebate.

Soon after, I received an email that my Verizon Internet Gateway would ship soon with 2-day shipping.

Later that day, I received two separate emails from Verizon on how to redeem the XBox Series X, and the $200 Amazon Gift Card. I redeemed both, as well as the $100 5G rebate. I have screenshots showing that I was able to get all three done online.

I received the Gateway and Xbox a few days later via FedEx. However I had not received the email from Verizon for the $200 Amazon gift card. Friday, I went online to my Verizon account and saw the completed orders for the two shipments but nothing about the gift card. I clicked on chat, and after a useless attempt to get the bot to provide any information, I asked for an "agent" twice to no avail. I then informed the bot that it was "acting like a vacuum" , and it told me it was connecting me to a live agent. After an approximate five-minute delay, I was chatting with Tomas. I explained what was going on, and he said he would look into it. About an hour later, he informed me that he had taken care of it. He copied the information into the chat window so I could see it since the link he provided would not work.

As of today, I still have not received an email containing the $200 Amazon Gift Card. I have doubts that I will receive the $100 rebate in February as promised either.

As of now, the Gateway has been up for several days. I have not opened the XBOX Series X package yet. If I don't get the $200 gift card by the 29th, my current plan is to contact them to return everything. I don't have time to deal with this mess.

So I was just in the store because I did the pick up option instead of the delivery option. To my knowledge, the agent at the store did not change anything to the order! Also, even if they did, I wouldn’t be qualified for the Amazon gift card, but I did get the email for that.

Yes, I plan to wait it out for a little bit longer and give them the benefit of the doubt that it’s the holidays and I’m sure a lot of people signed up for the offer so they’re just backed up.

On one of my phone calls, however, they did tell me that the Xbox offer was only valid AFTER using the service for 60 days, in which I told her that I thought that I had 60 days to redeem the offer. She didn’t have an answer to that. And seeing that you received your email quickly, it looks to me that I was correct.

Again, I don’t want to assume anything and I still have hope that I will receive all the promotions but it does seem sneaky that the customer support people don’t have any solutions and their answers are not streamlined and vary from whoever I talk to.

I wish I could post screen shots. For the Xbox and amazon card you have to go on the app or use a computer and go to my Verizon. For the Xbox I used the app fine to get the Amazon gift card I had to use the web browser as the app wouldn't redirect me. For both app or browser click on account scroll down past devices and you'll see make the most out of your plan. There you will find the Xbox and Amazon gift card selections. The Xbox it says it could take up to 6 weeks. I got mime in 2 days. I just now did the Amazon gift card so it does say I may have to wait up to 48 hours. For the Verizon gift card you have to wait 45days. †Verizon Gift Card: Must purchase eligible Verizon Home Internet service between 11.‌30.‌23–12.‌21.‌23 online, activate service within 14 days of purchase, and maintain eligible service in good standing for 45 days to receive a Verizon gift card. Register for the gift card w/in 60 days of purchase date. Gift card emailed within 8 weeks of registration. Hope that helps.

That’s how I received the Amazon gift card! It was listed as an option when I logged on the app. I guess I’m just frustrated that it’s available for one but not the other

The tile to redeem the Xbox doesn’t show on my account page. The Amazon gift card tile did, which was how I tried to redeem it (still waiting for the actual gift card to come through my email) but the Xbox tile doesn’t come up at all. Is there a way to manually redeem it, like a promo code, or something?

The agent said you receive the Xbox after 60 days in the mail

DO NOT let them make you think you will get it in 60 days. After 3 phone calls and multiple times messaging customer support, I finally received my email today to redeem the Xbox. I originally signed up for the home Internet service on December 19th. I feel like I had to fight them in order to receive the offers.

I found the poster for the promo and I read the fine print and you have to redeem the Xbox and Amazon gift card offer within 60 days or by April 3rd, whichever comes first. Again, DO NOT let them trick you into thinking you have to wait 60 days. Let them know that you never received the email to redeem the offers and if you persist enough, they will finally send you the email.

You have to call them and hopefully get a helpful associate that will help you. I’ve had to call multiple times before someone actually knew what to do and put a note on my profile so they knew that I wasn’t gonna give up on this. It took me a week and a half before I got both emails for the Amazon GC and the Xbox

Calling finally worked for me. I received the email for the $200 Amazon Gift Card on Wednesday, within an hour or so of talking to an agent with the promotions team. I was on hold for a while, but it paid off.

Chatting with several live agents was a waste of time. It appeared to me from the different responses I received that they all do not have the same information. I even had one tell me the promotion was to get the Xbox OR the gift card. I had to copy & paste the text from the original promo email before they understood what the offer was.

As of now, I plan on continuing to use the service.

I'm getting the same issues talking to a chat rep in My Verizon app in the Philippines. I did get the Amazon Gift card promo email today. She had no clue. Then she told me, I had to wait for having 60 days of service. I corrected her with the quickness. I told her, the promo must be redeemed in 60 days, how would I redeem if I waited 60 days? And also if that was true, why did I get Amazon Gift Card today? After some time, she came back with, they ran out of X Box's. I was like, that shouldn't keep me from redeeming today, and getting 1-3 months from now. Or whenever stock issues are fixed. Finally told me she was escalating this to her team. Probably wasted 1 hour with her. Sorry, but boo on Verizon for a badly managed roll out of this promo.

Can you please tell me what number you called to finally achieve success?

I hope promo team is listening. It's a pain to switch over service as it is, to then have to deal with this? I know what you're saying, but really seems like you're trying to dissuade people from redeeming. Please help. Asap.

Thanks a lot. For me, I signed up for the Amazon Card on laptop in My Verizon account. They said they would email $200 Amazon Gift Card within 48 hours, and guess what? They did. In the email you can click on get Amazon Gift Card, then another window opens with web or app instructions and the Amazon Gift Card code. I just copied and pasted my Amazon Gift Card code into the app and boom. $200 in my account. Please see attached screen shots for Amazon Gift Card Promo Proof.

So true. I got similar bad information from the My VZ App Chat team. Seems they haven't been properly trained on this promo.

I am also experiencing difficulties while trying to redeem the Xbox series X and $200 Amazon GC. I purchased the 5g home Internet on 12/31/23 and activated the service when the router came in on 1/3/24. I have not received a redemption email or a notification/tile within the Verizon app.

I have had the same issue several hours on the phone with customer service. Today I did get an email that says "its time to redeem you rebate" with a button that says "redeem now" but the button doesn't take me to any web page. It appears the button is just an image. I still don't have any tiles in my Verizon account that take me to redeem anything either.

How long after installation you receive the email to redeem the offer?

I received the email to redeem the card on 12/16. I clicked the redeem now link in the message, expected the card in an email within 24-48 hours of registration. AND I FORGOT ABOUT IT.

It was buried in my email, which arrived Jan 2.

After a dsicussion with a customer serivce rep, I was notified it may take 6-8 weeks to arrive.

I escalated this twice with customer service and each time I speak to someone it feels like they're just buying time with no solution in sight. The last time I escalated was about a week ago and the rep told me I'd receive the link to redeem the Xbox and Amazon GC within 48 hours. With everyone experiencing the same thing with this promotion, it seems like a class action law suit is inevitable.

Hey, sorry to hear that. I ended up having to get transferred to a promotions specialist and they sent me the Xbox straight to my door. No email required, the Amazon gift card I finally got them to send me the email. Just call until you get someone that actually knows what they are doing. It took me a long time.

I've also called customer service multiple times and getting no where. On my last call, the rep Angel is claiming that I'm only eligible for one or the other which clearly conflicts with the promotion page when I signed up. When I asked for the Xbox, they're claiming that it's out of stock. Can somebody at Verizon reach out to me about this? I have activated my 5G home internet last month. Also they told me they can't find any Verizon community posts about any of their customers experiencing this same issue.

The other two families I helped sign up notify me that they have completed the redemption for both the $200 gift card and the xbox. Both say the xbox is to be delivered around Valentines day 2024. I check my email and find that I have Received gift card redemption. I Redeemed, received giftcard, applied to amazon account for later.

Call customer "Care" and speak with Himanshu, 5g Tech support tier 2
read notes on third of January from Himanshu. Basically tells me that this will not fire off the redemption email until the router is setup and showing active. Sticks to his story even after being notified that the other two families have completed their redemptions but not yet received their routers...... Whatever, I'll call back.

Reset router for line old line xxx-xxx-xxxx and call Verizon Customer Care. Worked with a female agent to remove the old line.
Made sure she understood not to delete the NEW PLUS LINE due to promotion requirements of 180 days before cancelation of the new line.
My online account represented the changes made before ending the phone call.

I wake up to an email notifying me that my account was closed and to send two routers back using the boxes that are being shipped to me.
call verizon support and find out that my account was indeed closed by the female agent, due to a mistake she made when cancelling the xxx-xxx-xxxx line.
The tech blind transfers me to a sales agent. The sales agent tells me there is nothing she can do be cause she shows the account is active. THEN SHE ALSO BLIND TRANSFERS ME WITHOUT NOTICE. Manly voice says hello in a confused tone.....
This was great, because I found myself on the phone with Gary - Tier 3 who should be put in a position of leadership within your company because he knows how to not only talk to livid customers, but also how to solve complex issues and understand them as well.
Anyhow, Gary works the issue of reconnecting the new nnn-nnn-nnnn line to my online verizon account. THEN also helps me with the original issue.
He proceeds to have his Supervisor fill out the XBOX redemption form manually and send for Quality Assurance approval.
Explains the next steps include waiting for Quality Assurance checking legitimacy.
Notifys me that I should receive an Update by Monday next week via email for xbox redemption and order status.

My whole promotion deal had to escalated multiple time I finally got the Amazon gift card just got the Xbox x today but no Verizon gift card. I was also told by a rep I already redeemed my Verizon gift card. How do you redeem something that was never giving to you? How do u redeem anything when every other promo deal had to be redeemed while on the phone screen sharing with an agent? Now I'm thinking either the agent took it for themselves or it was just a lie to get u hooked into something.

I signed up for the Verizon 5h home internet on December 20th 2023 online because that’s the only way to receive the deal. I have yet to receive an emails for the Xbox series X, Verizon gift card or the Amazon gift card. Also having this issue with Verizon support. I was able to get my Amazon gift card pretty quickly but the $100 rebate and Xbox Series X have been a nightmare to get any progress on. I also don't have the tile under "Make the most of your plans" on my account overview page. I've been on with several support agents within the last 2 months and have been told tickets have been made and escalated but I never hear back and I always have to be the one to reach out. Now today I'm told my line isn't eligible because my activation date (Dec 29th) is outside the dates of the offer. Which is not true, the offer ran until Jan 3rd (for the Xbox), but also shouldn't it be from the "Order" date? You know, the date I purchased the product from you with the promotion offer? The agent told me they have no option to grant me the promotion and won't even tell me the dates they have that the promotion ran to because they run "multiple offers" at a time, only that my account is "ineligible".

Got a supervisor to make another ticket for me but I'm coming up on that 60-days-from-activation date and I'm worried they're just stalling until then and will then say I can't receive my offer because it's past the date to redeem it.

To redeem the VZ Gift Card, you can submit for that via our Simple Rebate site here: https://www.yourdigitalrebatecenter.com/#!/ On that page you’ll enter the purchase date of your 5G Home and the promo code HOME100NOV23 (that is the current promo code). After that is accepted you’ll be asked to enter the following information; email address & confirmation, the number assigned to your 5G Home. You can find that under account details in My Verizon. Confirm that number, and then your first and last name. You then submit all that. Once you have a confirmed submission, you should receive the VZ Gift Card via email within 8-weeks of submission.

Yup. Almost exactly same thing happened to me. I signed up on 12.26.

I called only for help with the ACP program. I had already finished signing up online myself and had an order confirmation when I called. The Verizon Rep that picked up my call, named Paul, offered to take over and set up router pick up at local Verizon store and promised to call me back after I picked up the router to help me set up the router and walk me through signing up for the ACP.

I specifically asked him several times, if him helping me with ACP or setting up router pick up would affect me getting all the promotions, and he said no. I specifically asked him 3 times. He said no, I'm going to get the XBox Series X, $200 Amazon Gift Card, and $100 Verizon Gift Card, and I asked are you sure and he repeated all the promo items I was getting several times. So I said ok and accepted his help.

Now I've called and put several tickets in, and they're telling me that it was Phone order and that I don't qualify because of that. Even though I had already signed up online myself and only inquired about ACP. Which I could have done myself. But he told me no, he could help me and it wouldn't affect my eligibility for any of the promotional items they were offering.

I even documented the conversation and call and they still say the system won't let them give me all the promos, which shouldn't be the case. Some supervisor should do the right thing and honor my promos. So far, all I've gotten is the $200 Amazon Gift Card.

The agent I spoke to's name is Paul. I spoke to him on 12/26 starting at around 1:30pm. Now I feel like I got cheated somehow and the rep lied to me and somehow switched my order confirmation so he would get credit for signing somebody new up. They can listen to the call and confirm what I'm saying. This is not right and I should be given the promos I was promised ASAP. I'm also afraid they're stalling so the promo period will expire, which is Feb 26, since I signed up December 26th. Somebody please help and make this right.

I had this problem too. Ordered the service on 12/14, and picked up my router in store. Activated the services on 12/15. Never received an email confirmation of pick up or for promotions, and no tile shows up under services and perks on my verizon app or on a web browser. The only emails I did receive show that my order qualified for the promotion (XBox Series X, $200 Amazon GC, and $100 Vz GC) and when the order was ready to pick up.

Called and messaged several times for several hours to Verizon Customer Service. First few times it was acknowledged that I qualified for promotion and was told to wait for promotions to show up. After waiting I called/messaged Verizon again and they told me they would open a ticket with the offline team in order to get the promotions applied. Followed up several times with no updates and failed follow ups from Verizon. Now customer service reps aren't aware of the past promotions and fail to acknowledge previous notes on the account or notes don't depict the discussion that happened. Last I was told they would pull call records to review the calls, with no promise to update me.

I did finally receive my $100 Verizon gift card via email on 2/16/24. The email is from (without spaces) "Your Wireless Rebate @ Your Wireless Rebate Center . com" so check your junk/spam folders.

I've also been going back and forth with Verizon customer service multiple times for two months and keep getting a different response about when and how I will be able to redeem my Xbox and Amazon gift card. To date I still have not received a single thing. Nothing in my Verizon account (app or website) and no emails... not even in Spam. Is this a ploy to get us to switch to Verizon home internet?? Because honestly, the service is terrible but I'm hanging on because I want the promotional items that were promised to customers!

FINALLY got all my promotions. I'll post my solution here in case it helps anyone.

My situation is similar to @GordonGekko90292X
in that my original order was placed online but due to an issue I had resolved over the phone with support (shipping problem) it changed my order to appear like it was placed over the phone. This messed with the automated system and my promotions, since they were online only, and customer support wasn't able to help. I've been on the other side and I understand support folks often aren't given the information, access, or tools they need to resolve anything more complicated than "turn it off and on again". Mostly everyone I talked to was very friendly and helpful, but once it got to the point where an "internal ticket" was made and I had to wait, I just never heard back again.

So here's what I did. I made a complaint with the BBB against the Verizon Communications HQ. I got a call back a few days later from Verizon from a very helpful person in Executive Relations who was able to confirm my original order and promotions. I got an email a few days later that the Xbox was shipped and the $100 Gift card email was on its way. After only a little over a week I had received everything! Make sure to include details in your complaint like order numbers, location codes, emails, etc.

Good Lord. Thank you so much. You are amazing. Thank you for sharing. Finally, somebody to validate what I've been saying. Everytime I would tell somebody what happened. It was like they didn't believe me or too bad we can't do anything about it anyway. I've been banging my head over this for weeks. Spoken to numerous agents for hours. Answered numerous messages.

Do it. It works. I wrote a complaint with the BBB detailing my long frustrating experience, and guess what? I got a call from Noelle in from some executive team, within 3 hours of writing the complaint on a Saturday. She quickly fixed the problem and promised to have my Xbox shipped out by Monday, with a 2 day delivery. I checked and my Xbox was indeed shipped out yesterday and expected to be delivered on Wednesday.

Apparently they don't like un resolved complaints on their BBB account. I think they mess with their BBB standing and rating.
