cannot find indoor ONT box

Hello, I recently upgraded my 500 mbps plan to the 1 gig plan. I was still having trouble with the speed after the upgrade went through. I was told to find my ONT box in my home, but I could not locate it. I was able to find the outdoor ONT box and a phone adapter. Is there a way I could locate this ONT box? I recently moved into my new home and this is the first time we have Fios, hence not knowing what or where the ONT box was/is. Is it possible to have Fios without the indoor ONT box? I am being mailed a new router, but I'm not sure if that is the problem.

So...what speed are you getting currently? I need to see whether the method of connection between the router and the ONT is a potential point of concern.

ONT may have phone jacks coming out because you would terminate traditional phone lines to the same ONT if you have ordered landline service (Fios Digital Voice). Otherwise, you could bet on the ONT box being white or black and has a VZ logo on it.
