Logging into My Verizon to manage our family plan is now a nightmare. I used to login with either an id or the primary number on the account with the password (and a security question). Now, I can try that but it always pauses and requires action from a text sent to primary account number (which is my son's phone in another city). This is incredibly inefficient and inconvenient. This has become a security nightmare.
When I have been able to get in (with my son being available to verify the text), I have disabled two factor in the system. But that has made no difference. Still have to verify to his primary number.
How can we either disable this so I can log in with password/security question or how can we change the primary account number from his number to mine (since I pay for the family plan and manage it). It was sent up with him as the primary when I did not have a verizon phone (but a business issued phone). I always paid the family plan for wife, son and daughters. Now I too am on the plan. And I want to get into it without having to bother him.
Btw - we are all set up as account managers so we can individually go to a store and upgrade, add.
