I had the account since 2004 with no late payments. I just looked at my credit report. I found out Verizon wrecked my credit over a $106 charge in 2001. I had cancelled my service and I had no idea I had a late payment. I am going through divorce and I was going to switch back to Verizon. They made up my mind not to do it.
I called twice and they refused to even try to do anything. I had not gotten any bills saying I was late. 17 years of service with no late payments then when I cancelled they did this.
