iPad 10th generation (from Verizon) suddenly won’t accept my dongle adapter & earphones

My iPad 10th generation (from Verizon) suddenly won’t accept my dongle adapter & earphones to listen to music at night I’ve checked settings- Headphone Accommodations is on (which shows the adapter plugged in but won’t show headphones as being accepted- as I said it has worked with both in the past- HELP!!!

I only use the dongle & ear buds with my iPad-it has worked in the past since I’ve had the iPad- now it shows the dongle as attached but no luck with the buds- have tried new buds but no luck! HELP

I’m still waiting for a reason why my iPad 10th generation suddenly will not work with an Apple certified dongle & headphone as it as in the past- I’ve talked with Apple. customer service ad naseum & no help from them my iPad shows that the dongle is attached but nothing else!! Where do I go from here????

You might need to talk with your ISP about something going on with the Wi-Fi. Someone posted in another thread some months ago that Verizon's wireless internet service doesn't work if there are 2 or more "hops" between the gateway and the final destination device. Maybe it is a similar thing going on with your Wi-Fi provider and the dongle in between (that's 2 "hops").

P.S. - If your issue wasn't solved and you can't unmark the earlier post so it doesn't show it as a solution, you might want to flag the post and in the popup box, ask the moderator to remove the "solution" mark so it doesn't look like your problem's been solved.
