I have the new fios wireless system installed (terrible by the way) and the message keeps coming up "are you still watching?" and if you don't hit the ok button it shuts off. How do I stop this?
Go to settings (house icon on remote, gear icon on screen top right), Android TV settings, Device Preferences, Power & Energy, Automatically turn off tv, When watching and When inactive.
is this only for smart TV's? I only have a regular HDTV, nothing "smart". My new equipment has not yet arrived which is why I'm asking.
I set those to never, hopefully that stops that annoying message. This whole system is annoying and glitchy. I so miss my Tivo!!!
I agree wholeheartedly with the terrible comment. I can't believe they forced this on me, and I lost my TiVo. I haven't been able to watch anything without some glitch or freeze or annoying message like the "are you still watching" thing. Who thought of that... it was popping up every 15 minutes or so. Hopefully, the solution below works....
