From reading in this forum I see that many customers are having the same issue. Great speed BUT the connection to the internet drops.
Back in Dec 2023 I chated with a Tech and informed him of my issue....Had the tech running some test at his end he stated that he saw and issue with the router and he would place an order to get me a new one. Ok...it arrived and I set it up.........STILL THE SAME ISSUE. ONT has been reset, router has been rest, cables are all good. Worked fine when I first upgraded to 1GB, so why do I keep dropping the connection to the internet ??????
I installed a Google Extension called "Internet Connection Monitor".....works great and keeps a log of connection and drops. Export as a CSV or PDF. Good tool to illustrate the issue, which has been inserted into this conversation.
Come on Fios fix this issue already.....may customers are having the same problem.
