So, we switched to Spectrum for the $29 each line and I have a full service store available close by. Not all Verizon stores are full service. Meaning, you can pay your bill at every store. And When you switch, your My Verizon app no longer works, you can't see or pay your remaining balance on your device. So, I called spent half an hour talking to Jane in India. Trying to pay the balance, Jane said she couldn't do it either. I would have to go online after a certain date to pay it. Sound stupid, I know, but now you know why I'm out of Verizon, well kinda. I go online, to pay and the cost is higher. Can't see why, because it doesn't explain. Called Jane again in India. Half an hour later Susan finds the earlier conversation and says Verizon requires you to have service on a device you haven't paid for yet. REALLY? Did you see I called a month ago and you said I had to wait. Oh, one moment please. Robert from India gets on the line, says they're taking the services off. Since I talked to Jane a month ago. Oh, no, I still can't pay Robert either. But the bill is back to the original and I have to wait again to log on and pay. Yesterday I got a notification from a bill collector.
Now you know the rest of the story. This all could have been avoided if you, VERIZON would have left my Verizon App active, so I could have paid the bill the same way I had always paid it.
Now, I hope this collection company is charging you more money than this bill I've been trying to pay.
