Got an s23 ultra. A month later I turned in my old s23 ultra and was promised $850. Went to upgrade this year was told I had to pay remaining $900 left on this one. I said fine take off the $850 I'm owed and I'll pay the difference. Said can't do that because of the "contract" over and over. Literally could not explain it me aside from just saying that's how it is over and over. Not 1 but 4 different agents online and in store. I said fine I'll pay the 900. Then was told if I do that I completely lose the $850. Once again just because of the "contract". In order to upgrade it would cost $1750 and would still have to pay for new phone on top of that. Another $1400. That would be $3150 for a $1400 phone. All the while they keep the other 2 phones. They just keep your phones never actually pay you anything for them. But let me keep the phone and not pay them and they will prosecute me. If you all don't have an arbitration lawyer get one. It's the only way to get your money back from these thieves. Best part is when I signed up for Verizon I specifically told them these were the exact reasons I left and sued att and was repeatedly promised nothing like this would happen. They are even worse then them.
