Does Verizon sell approve coax/Moca certifed splitters ? I have freezing issue w/new router+mini STBs

FIOS customer since day 1 of its existence. I recently got current on router and STBs (CR1000+minis) and am experiencing freezing issues and get the 're-boot' the box message on screens. I also have a m-card, which is also freezing at same times, so it looks like a root cause outside of the STBs, m-card adapter, i.e. either OTB/fiber or coax.

Before I drag out a Verizon tech, I would like to change out the splitters w/something Verizon blessed. I believe my splitters are actually superior (they are Channel Vision brand) and have worked for years, including error free transmission of data on 4 Moca adapters.

Does anyone know how to purchase Verizon branded or approved splitters ?

Verizon sells MoCA 2.0 rated splitters on its website.

When I reworked the coaxial cabling infrastructure here at home, I purchased splitters that are suitable for use with satellite systems. Those units can handle frequencies greater than what splitters rated MoCA 2.0 can.

But, the units availability on Verizon's website will work just as well.

Now the Verizon technician migtt have spare splitters on the vehicle and can swap out ones that are our of spec.

This might also be a good time to look over the coaxial cable itself.

Any RG59 should be replaced with RG6.

Twist-on or crimp-on connectors replaced with compression connectors.

Cables that have been incorrectly prepped can cause degraded performance. Consider purchasing the tools used for this purpose (available at hardware stores such as Home Depot or Lowes) along with a few compression connectors.

All of this will help to ensure that the coaxial cable inside the house can provide a trouble-free path for the signal to use.
