I live west of Seattle and do not have access to 5G or even 4G. Is this due to the winter storm on Thursday or is the service just down
If you have internet access via some other means besides Verizon, go to Verizon's website and scroll down to the bottom of the page for the Check Network Status link and enter the required information there to see if there's an outage.
