Hi, looking for some networking assistance. I've had a Verizon 4G LTE Home "cube" for over a year, works great. Here is my current configuration that I want to modify:
VZW Cube broadcasts wifi on SSID #1 at one end of the house. One ethernet port direct to TV, the other to a switch.
Connected to the switch are two Unifi UAP-AC-M wired access points, one at the far end of the house (80 ft away) and the other in our shop (80 ft the other way), hence the need for broader wifi coverage. These Unifi AP's are SSID #2.
PROBLEM: With 2 SSID's it is necessary to manually switch between the two, so a better solution is to create a mesh network or some type of distributed network where only 1 SSID is used by all 3 devices - Cube and both Unifi APs - to create a seamless wifi everywhere.
Has anyone done a wired mesh network like this and what settings did you use. Any suggestions appreciated.
