In April of 2023 I transferred 4 lines and added two apple watches....I was told we would receive 4 $200 Visa cards once we hit out mark. I asked about a promo needed and was told I didn't needed anything. Then when I reached back out multiple times say answer. Then one day told I needed a promo. Was given it and it didn't work (out of time) and I asked they sent in a request. Then denied the request due to a different promotion which we were given and then explained it was basically the same or similar and was just as good. I was like this is not what I was promised we were given that and were supposed to get the card as a promotion for switching. We are out $800 and transferred online to get the credit......still no fix and went to a cooperate store and told that they "couldn't" help me. My family is livid and when our their lines are paid, they are leaving and we are considering it. We have been with Verizon for years we will likely be transferring out to a different company. I hope Verizon knows $800 must have been worth the 460 we pay monthly to them for service. (we've paid for 15 year as customers). Hoping someone can make it right but losing hope. Today we added another line transfer (new line to version) was quoted. Took screen shots of our conversations and was quoted incorrectly after asking for clarification multiple times given a quote and paid taxes for new phone and then get transferred and told that was incorrect an they couldn't guarantee the promo I thought I was getting because I didn't do it alone but used an agent.....I have to send an promo correction that may or may not be allowed even though it was misinformation. I am so disappointed. Our bill is now $30 more than we anticipated.....lovely. MY options were cancel and wait 7-10n days for money to hit my bank and re do the order differently even though I went through online chat to get the best deal and promo to find out I was mislead in that chat even with asking for clarification.....I am beyond disappointed and don't know why I keep trying and trusting Verizon.... to make it a little better I was offered 2.00 loyalty credit (10$) for 12 months (on a different note...the woman I dealt with who explained I was misinformed was super kind but wasn't able to do much she said other than a loyalty credit of $10 for the account for 12 months...no shade at her she was kind and was just not able to help)She said she documented everything and hopefully they will do the promo fix but couldn't promise..............Come on Verizon give me my $800 in visa card I was owe almost 9 months ago and make my promo right on my new phone line (that I ordered 3 hours ago)....about to talk to the attorney general!
