Verizon's Current Plans

Currently we have 4 lines on the older plans of Play More and Get More and Start. With these plans, 3 of us get Apple Music, Disney/Hulu/ESPN Package, 500 GB storage, Travel Pass, Apple Arcade, more than ample Hot Spot and other perks. Since Verizon switched to their current plans, they keep messaging me to switch and "only pay for what you use" which basically means pay more for what you currently have.

However they are now raising the price of each of these plans in order to try to force us to switch over to their new plans. Doing the math, with the price increase it is still a bit less to keep what we currently have than to pay for new plans and same perks. I wasn't aware that Verizon could increase the prices of packages?

Why can't they just leave satisfied customers alone? Do they want to drive us to another carrier? So frustrating.

Totally agree! Last year they forced me to switch to a new plan because they raised the price of my old plan so drastically. I was NOT happy and spent forever on the phone with an agent. Now they're doing it again. I get bombarded almost daily with either texts or emails trying to get me to switch to a new plan.

While I agree it is unfair of Verizon to increase the costs of plans for those who are on a contract - that's like a landlord raising the rent on a tenant in the middle of a lease - everything costs more now. The price of anything I can think of has gone up at least 30% in the past 2 years alone.

I agree I was just looking myself at the new upgrade to the 16 and now I’m comparing the plans with the person that I’m chatting with and I’m like no this isn’t up to me the is not mathing. so you’re telling me that you’re gonna give me a credit of only this much That is $20 and that’s supposed to go towards the phone but you’re telling me oh but you can use it towards the Apple Music and the bundle. OK then where’s my credit for my phone makes no sense at all. They’re trying to get those that are grandfathered in and push us out. That’s what they doing.
