I recently switched from AT&T to Verizon a few weeks ago, brought my current iPhone 12 Pro Max over and ported my existing number.
I had to get a physical SIM with Verizon, and since activating it, I’ve never been able to get 5G despite being surrounded by 5G UW on the coverage map, and currently only have two bars of LTE for data. I’m getting worse speeds then I was on AT&T.
At first I thought it was because my phone was showing I still had an eSIM active from AT&T (even though service was canceled) so I deleted that, but I’m still getting slow connection speeds.
Is there something else I can do on my end? The coverage map shows I should be getting full 5G.
