New Construction - Installing Fios Internet

Hello,

I'm trying to get Fios Internet set up in our new home - it's new construction. It's the first house on the street however, we've confirmed that service is available to the connecting street and other houses on that street are also using Verizon. Our GC informed us that Verizon will need to pull from the hand held at the street and into the house. We tried calling and the agent we spoke with was not understanding the circumstances. Please advise on how to proceed.

Update - confirmed with builder the street is wired for Verizon. Unsure why the address is not populating in the system. Customer service was 0 help. Per reading online it seems like someone just needs to come out to validate. Time is of the essence, so unfortunately may have to look into competitors if we can’t get an answer.

Does anyone here have experience with this / had luck with a quick resolution?
