Still problems pairing remote

This is the second time I hav had remote issues. Last time they sent me a new remote and it worked fine. Now I had to replace the batteries in the new remote and I'm having that same issue again. It goes through the process and flashes back and forth that it has paired and finally says it failed. I can't reset or auto/manual program either. It says Unable to program your Fios TV Voice remote with connected TV.

Did you try a factory reset?

How to Factory Reset Fios One Voice Remote

1. Press the Menu button on the Fios remote.

2. From the list of options, click on Settings.

3. Next, click the Voice control option.

4. Further, select Fios TV Voice Remote.

5. Then click on Program Voice Remote.

6. Finally, select the Reset Remote Setup option.

Also take the batteries out of the remote for at least 5 minutes and try again.
