How to schedule router on and off - using Verizon router

Question

Hi,

I have wifi and a few rooms in our home that are hard wired.  I'd like to turn of the wifi during the weekdays and on in the weekends on a schedule.  We have the  Fios Quantum Gateway Router.   Does anyone know what is the best way to do this?

I tried to use the Verizon phone app to do this manually, but that app is pretty bad.  It almost never works on my Android phone.

Try using the router's Web Interface. The web interface can be accessed at http://192.168.1.1/ and the credentials should be found on a sticker attached to the router itself. In the web interface, you'll be able to find settings for controlling the Wi-Fi, as well as settings for restricting access to the Internet with Parental Controls.
