I have a very long cable hanging from a pole in front of my house. I just found it tangled up in the branches of my cherry tree.
I am not sure what kind of wire it is, but I believe it may be a fiber optic cable. It is hanging down about four feet from the sidewalk. This sidewalk is frequently used by neighborhood kids and I am afraid one may try yanking on it or possibly vandalizing it.
There is a rather large coil of wire that appears to be the same type hanging off one of the wires strung between the poles and is high up.
I can't find a number to call to report this and request someone come to inspect and repair so it isn't a safety concern. I hope posting here can get a quick resolution.
