Specs for G3100 include IOT: BlueTooth and Zigbee

Question

Looking at the datasheet for the Verizon / Fios G3100 router I see a line "IOT: BlueTooth and Zigbee". Nowhere on the website or user manual is an IOT Bluetooth or Zigbee mentioned. In other words, the router could provide this feature but does not. Is this assumption correct?

That is correct. Just like the USB ports on some of Verizon's routers, the Bluetooth and Zigbee functionality was never implemented to be useful in the firmware.
