I need advice on getting Verizon to properly install my Fios cable. Over three years ago, a tree fell during a storm and took down our power lines and Fios cable. Instead of fixing it properly, Verizon laid the cable on the ground along our ~300' driveway. This worked for about a year before the cable broke and we lost the signal. They replaced it the same way, just on the ground, and this cable also lasted about a year.
While mowing, the first cable got caught in the blade, so we disposed of it properly. Each time the cable failed, we called Verizon repeatedly but could never get anyone to hang or bury the cable properly. We even got a supervisor's number from a technician, but after promising to fix it, he eventually stopped answering our calls.
This week, we lost service again. The technician confirmed it was an issue with the cable and replaced it, but this time it's the most temporary fix yet. The cable now runs across our gravel driveway in two places, and I doubt it will last long with delivery trucks running over it.
I've called the new supervisor twice over the last five days with no response.
How can I get Verizon to properly hang or bury the Fios cable this time?
