5G Home Internet not available at my address, but all my neighbors have it

I have been trying to get Home Internet for over 7 months. 5G Home internet is available for every house in every direction in my rural neighborhood but service is not available for my address. I have climbed the social ladder in the Verizon support system every way I can think of and keep getting the same promises that I will be notified when it is available. I even went to the local Verizon store and talked to the Manager a couple of times (who put a ticket in ) and he promised service would be available soon. that was 6 months ago. Any advice on how to get this resolved?

It happens. They may be over saturated as well.

It's not available for the neighbor across the street. It's by signal strength and a bunch of other things.

Unfortunately you just have to be patient.

Thanks for the reply Scott, but I can't buy over saturation as a reason. I live in a rural area, a dirt road out in the township. I have about a dozen neighbors on our road, who all have availability. This is farm country. Only a couple of my neighbors actually use the service, most have a competitor's service. The neighbor that does subscribe to the service advised that their signal strength is very strong and reliable. (The tower is nearby.) The neighbors on each side of my me and across the road have availability, but they do not subscribe. It is not oversaturation.

I have been more than patient. I have been trying to make this connection for 8 months. I have climbed the social ladder on the phone to the top of the rope so many times that I am frustrated beyond words. I have been told repeatedly that it would happen "soon, within the next week, by Friday, etc" and nothing happens. I have been told repeatedly that the person I was talking to would call me back with info or to check that everything was taken care of and never a call back. Not the kind of service I expect from Verizon. (We have been with Verizon for over 20 years.)

My suspicion is the issue may be related to the fact that our home is a relatively new construction. We purchased the parcel of land about 4 years ago and established the street address shortly after. Construction on the home started in the spring of 2023 and we move in in the fall. I mentioned this to each tech support person that I have spoken to and each time advised that it was not the problem. Sit tight, be patient, it will be taken care of very soon.

Even though we are in a rural area, we have options. Up to this point I have chosen not to take advantage of any of those options and I would prefer to bundle my existing Verizon phone service with the home internet service. But I am about out of patience and about ready to move everything to brand X. I am currently using hot spots and it is very expensive and not very convenient. The current situation is not sustainable. Who can help me get this fixed? Is there anything I can do to make this happen? Please don't tell me to be patient, it will happen soon. That dog won't hunt.

Thanks again for your reply, but at this point I am a bit cynical that my rant did anything more than get it off my chest and waste precious time.

I am currently having this same issue with my newly constructed home. Every address circling me can get it, but not me. I am having ZERO luck getting them to help me. Have you figured it out yet?

We are glad to read that you're interested in starting your service with us. While service might be available for people in the area, the spots available for service can fill up. We recommend keeping an eye on our website for when a spot opens up.

I feel you live rural also only plan that available was lite plan that capped at 25mbps and throttled after 150gb why pay 60.00 a month for service when my phones hotspot is better.
