Been with Verizon for 24 years phones. Decide to try fios with home inter phone and tv. Tried with no success to get this done online. Online was a nightmare evertime we tried to get the current phone number put into the system we were given a new number. Not wanting to order the services without our current number we had no choice but to call. And call we did. Got a nice rep. But he didn’t have the knowledge he should have known or should have taken the time to research. Free perks— Samsung appliance vs Disney gaming. When asked about the Samsung appliance because we don’t need an appliance now we asked how long that’s good for. He replied it’s good forever no issues using it the next time you need an appliance. This of course isn’t true. And shouldn’t have been said. But that’s not what I’m upset over. We still continue with our order the next upsetting part of this process is the CREDITcheck. I’ve been a customer of Verizon for 24 years surely you know my ability to pay, surely you know the kind of customer I am. Why ever time I check in it tells me I’ve been a customer for 24 years. Well no they still needed to run my credit. CREDIT CHECH of your customer for 24 years I guess that’s the THANKS I GET. But we kept going and scheduled an install 4 days after the first date available. And lots of flags were placed all over my property marking everything gas, electric,cable and I do believe some actually came twice. But on the day that it was to be installed. The installer said. Come here they didn’t run the line. It’s a Friday so you probably won’t hear from us till Monday but I can’t do anything until the line is installed. This is when I believe the second set of flags appeared everyone else gas,electric,cable all came and flagged spray painted AGAIN just Verizon needed to do a part. We got emails asking us to reschedule and we responded that we would reschedule after Verizon installed the line no sense in wasting our time if Verizon didn’t do what needed to be done outside our home. We do believe on 6/10/2024 a line was dug and out outside our home. But on 6/11 at 530am we got an email that WE cancelled our order!! WE did no such thing. We expected an email requesting an install inside our home but we were told WE cancelled the order. So on 6/11 WE called the number that the cancelled email tells you to call. NOT A SOECIAL number but general customer service. We again got a nice rep. Who couldn’t see anything couldn’t find any details about the cancellation ect. I asked for her to elevate it up. She just wanted to place ANOTHER order!! Why why would VERIZON not figure out what is going on. Why would another rep say just place another order? Why waste our time again did you run the line? Does anyone at Verizon know if work was performed? We had an order!! We didn’t cancel the order! It’s a case of no one at VERIZON knowing what they are doing or not doing.
