Cellular Data does not work

I switched to Verizon 6 months back and since then cellular data does not work on any of the 4 phones on my line. Their trouble shooting and services are equally poor as their cellular data service. I have tried but nothing works. Sometimes they say eSIM issue sometime congestion and sometimes suggest me to switch to 30gb plan from unlimited and pay $60 more per month. Sadly I am under contract but I am willing to switch from this terrible service.
Any suggestions to get rid of by giving them their devices and minimum money?

I'm a bit confused because there is no 30 gig plan I can find on the website. Are you using your phones through a Wi-Fi connection which is using Verizon Home Internet?

If you are under contract, you can still get out, but it costs a fortune as you'd have to pay whatever penalties there are for early termination and if there are outstanding balances on your devices, you'd have to pay off the devices immediately.

I again spent more than 5 hour continuously with Verizon customer service people, they had all explanations from tower congestion to eSIM issue but didn’t had any solution. I gave them all the details worked with them to resolve it but all waste of time. But one person who looked quite familiar with issue suggested me to move from unlimited plan to 30gb plan. Though unlimited plan says slow internet in case of congestion and doesn’t say no internet/cellular data. Will waste my Saturday again before saying bye to Verizon.

Hi, yes it was suggested by one customer support guy and said will cost $60 more than existing unlimited plan. I am not having Verizon home internet and just want to try their cellular data service, which is sadly doesn’t work for me most of the time.

Moving out of contract by paying huge amount to them is an option but before that I want to make them realize how bad their service is and their support people should know more than 2-3 general solutions of any technical problem

Not sure if sharing zip will be safe. But it is not rural area and twon has 5 towers including 2 5G.

I think I get it now, but please correct me if I'm wrong. You're currently on Unlimited Welcome and have 4 lines. But your cellular service is terrible for whatever reason and Verizon CS suggested upgrading your plan to Unlimited Plus (which has a 30gig hotspot allowance in it, and for 4 lines, would cost you an additional $60 + taxes/fees). The logic behind this is Unlimited Welcome has it in the fine print that if the network is busy (congested), Unlimited Welcome customers are subject to deprioritization - meaning your data speeds will slow down or barely even work if the tower is extremely congested. Those who are on Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Ultimate are shielded from this, because they're paying more...and the more you pay, the better your priority on the towers.

But I'm not sure what you mean by your data service "not working". Is it just very slow as in "webpages refuse to load unless one waits for several minutes, but eventually something does load", or is it when you open a browser you see "No internet access", or maybe your phones say "SOS" or "Emergency Calls Only" constantly? These are all different problems and each has a number of causes.

If your entire town has but 5 towers and only 2 have 5G service, there are some things to note:

5G radio waves do not travel anywhere as far as the older 4G LTE technology, so you may very well be out of range of the 5G service no matter what plan you have.
5G comes in different varieties (low-band, mid-band, and high-band) and the higher the band, the faster the data speed. However, the faster the data speed, the less distance the radio wave can travel. I suspect in your area the 2 towers which have 5G are using low-band 5G, which travels maybe a few miles before fading out. Mid- and high-band 5G are limited to urban areas due to the limited range.
LTE technology has been around for at least 15 years, and theoretically the data speeds could be up to 100Mbps down, but in real life, it's usually around 10-30Mbps down assuming the towers aren't congested.
Even if you're in range of a low-band 5G tower, data speeds on low-band 5G run about the same or maybe just a little better than LTE. The advantage of 5G in this case is a 5G cell can carry 10x the traffic a LTE cell can.

thank you for all the details.
when I say no internet l, I mean that I have network but not able to use any app including browser. Browser mostly does nothing and show server not responding and sometime no internet. Most of the apps does not work and I have to search for Wi-Fi in case of emergency.

Also I see same issue with text as well. When I send text after some time a red message popped up - text can’t be delivered. I also see delay in texts as well.
If I switch to Unlimited plus means pay more. I was not expecting that in unlimited I will have this kind of issue. Better is to get 20bg or so plan that actually Provide uou data when you need it.
I usually set my device on 5G Auto. Though it does not matter a lot as I have tried on LTE as well.
I have network. I usually see two network bars but still no cellular data/internet.

I am residing on this location since last 11 years and use two mobile services before moving to Verizon, and I didn’t had any issue earlier at all.
