Verizon fios set up

I wanted to set up my fios home internet account, but I cannot login into My Verizon because it asks me a secret question I do not remember setting. I am currently locked out of logging in, and would appreciate help in resetting my password and secret question, and setting up my new fios home internet service.

Does the "Forgot user ID or password" link work for resetting your password?

If you have both cell phone service and Fios service with Verizon, there was a merge of the Fios account system with the mobile account system about 2 years ago which may be the reason why you can't login to just your Fios account.
