How is it possible for someone on my 5 block list to text me ?
I've read that blocking a number from calling you doesn't stop them from texting. You could try using the block function in your texting app for whatever text you want to block.
If it is a spammer, gets a lot more troublesome as spammers constantly change their spoofed numbers so they can keep on spamming. You could block all texts from unknown senders, but that would filter out a lot of legitimate stuff too.
Great question ATLIEN_RN. What a challenge to restrict those unwanted call and texters! It can be annoying and frustrating. Once set up, Incoming calls from blocked numbers are automatically sent to voicemail and Incoming text messages from blocked numbers are not delivered. Depending on the model of phone you have there may be other options to block or restrict unwanted activity. What phone model do you have? We can assist with reviewing phone setting options.
