How many devices?

Had Verizon for a couple years now. But my router is not working correctly anymore. If I take off bride mode and just use the Verizon router square box how many things like TV, laptop, cellphone, ring camera, etc can I connect. On Google somewhere I saw 30 devices. Is that correct? And if I upgrade the old square box to the new rectangle taller modem router box is it the same 30 or the new router allows more devices?

I stopped by the store today and they said about 30 but we're not sure. But most people gatey about 30 devices upper limit. But they were not sure if the new box allows more than 30 devices.
