I need to split off 2.4ghz. Where do I do that?
(I just posted this same comment on another question, but it's the same thing you're looking at so I'm re-posting it here!)
Here's what I just worked out using some comments from Verizon I found on this forum. I can't vouch for anything, but it's the best I can put together!
That should activate a new separate 2.4 ghz network. I hope this works for you! And me too, I haven't tried to connect to it yet....
On your router page, you can go to the primary network Wifi page, and then change the name of the 2.4GHz to a different network, and then they will be split. I believe that's what you are asking.
I need to split the 5. My doorbell will not connect to anything bigger than 2.4.
