I had a disappointing and unpleasant experience at the Verizon store so decided to try and setup my new iPhone myself and transfer my mobile number over to the new iPhone. Evidently, when the store shipped me the new iPhone, it was already setup with my husband’s phone number in it. The prompts indicated I could proceed with transferring my number and then contact Verizon to fix the issue (remove my husband’s number from the phone).
When I contacted Verizon (via chat), I was told that if I disconnect the “second line” (which I had for an estimated 5 minutes) I will need to pay off the balance for the iPhone immediately. What!!!! I’m trying to get connected to a live person to help me. Any suggestions?
