I was planning on canceling my service with Verizon today (after being a long time customer of 20 years), due to various reasons.
I spoke with an absolutely lovely customer service agent who made magic happen, and I decided to stay on.
One of the things she did was to upgrade my older plan to a current one. After reviewing the details, I noticed my bill was not prorated. I have 2 cell phone lines.
The current billing cycle is dated 7/14-8/13. Today is 7/24. I have been charged for a full month at $65 per line.
Is it possible to prorate that charge from todays date accordingly? Say for example, 7/24 - 8/13 for $45 per line?
If not, it would make better sense to change the plan at the new billing cycle on 8/13.
