5G Home Internet Gateway CR200A ability to setup or change DNS servers to CleanBrowsing ip address

Need to block access to porn sites on my new gateway, menu on status shows verizon modem dns servers:
198.224.185.135
198.224.184.135

w/o the ability to change.

What are the work arounds other than going into every device and adding a DNS server
address of :
185.228.169.168
185.228.168.168

Unfortunately, there is no way that I am aware of to set alternative DNS server addresses with DHCP on this model of router.

I don't have that router, but I found this on Reddit... Seems to work.

Login > Advanced > Network Settings > Network Connections > Broadband Connections (Edit) > Settings (bottom of page) > WAN IP Address

then change IPv4 DNS to Use the following... and pop in your preferred DNS Addresses

I'm having the same issue. I tried using an ASUS router in IP passthrough, but IP passthrough on the CR200A is buggy. After running fine for several hours, latency would go through the roof.

I decided to use the CR200A as a router. I was able to configure all my port forwards and other settings. The only thing I can't update is the DHCP DNS servers. Did you ever find a workaround?

The steps you provided are not applicable to the WNC CR200A router. Unfortunately, there is no way that I am aware of to set alternative DNS server addresses with DHCP on this model of router.
