Back in May I signed up for the offer that I saw online - upgrade my Home internet with verizon and get a $200 gift card after 60 days. 60 days later, no gift card in site. I called and was told it would show up "any day now" and that I should wait "7 to 14 business days." 14 days later, nothing. I called again yesterday to follow up, and still nothing. I'm currently on hold and have been regarding this same issue for 40 minutes. The representative is clueless.
I'm looking on the community forum now and seeing dozens of others with this same issue. Either someone at Verizon messed up big time, or Verizon deliberately posted a misleading promo with no intention of following through. Either way, I am requesting a $200 credit on my Verizon account.
