Hello...I have an old/abandoned GTE phone utility box located on the back of my residential property. I understand that Verizon bought out GTE years ago. How do I go about finding out if this box is powered and the old analog phone line service that is connected to my house. If the line has power then I need to have the line terminated so I can dig.
I do not have any accounts with Verizon.
