Auto Redeeming Verizon Dollars

Auto redeeming Verizon Dollars from my Verizon Visa has been working great for paying my phone bill, except for this latest bill. For some reason Verizon charged me the full amount for the bill and didn't redeem any of my Verizon dollars. Why? Has this happened to anyone else?
