I have an account that has not been used in 2 years (I was out of the country), and in order to sign back in I need to complete 2 factor authentication by using my old phone number. However, I no longer have access to my number. The number is owned by Verizon, and is not currently in use (I tried to contact the number before this post). The only way to access the account is by this number (I have tried every other way possible). Would it be possible to speak with Verizon and gain temporary access to this number? Or something similar so I could change the number associated with my account? Who would I need to contact in order to do that?
