What is the address for submitting a written complaint?
I placed an order for a phone accessory two weeks ago. I changed my mind and cancelled the order in just a few minutes. I received a cancellation e-mail indicating there would be no charge.
Yesterday I got my monthly bill and there was a charge for the accessory. Customer Service cannot or will not correct my bill so this month. I have to pay an amount that's nearly 4x my normal monthly bill this month and wait for a credit next monthThey suggested that I simply underpay my bill this month which seems like bad advice. I would have to pause my autopay and lose the associated discount. I would probably also be dinged with some kind of late fee.
When the credit comes through for the cancelled order, I won't get a refund of this month's overpayment, just a giant credit balance that will cover my normal monthly bill into January. Fortunately it's an amount that won't totally destroy my budget, but not everybody can manage that.
There's no way in this day and age that a company cannot do things quicker than two months if they wanted to. My cynical side is saying it's a deliberate choice to make customers give them interest free loans. I'm glad I cancelled the order because I was afraid that if I had problems I'd be in for a lot of trouble returning the item. Based on this experience I think my fear was justified.
