I work in an office and we are wondering if there is a way to transfer phone calls directly to another lines voicemail without it ringing? For example, I answered a call on my desk phone and the person was wanting to speak to my boss. My boss was out of the office, so I transferred the call to his phone where it proceeded to ring about 8ish times before finally going to his voicemail. We are wondering if there is a way to send that call directly to his phone without making the person wait the 8 rings to get to his voicemail.
I worked in an office about 10 years ago where we could do this with those phones, but I don't remember what phone service those were through or how we did it there. I'm not sure if Verizon even offers this, but I figured I could ask! Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!
