I started a TYS on 10/2 to move my service to my girlfriend's account. All seemed well - she got the emails, accepted, and we waited. My number showed suspended during the process but we didn't think anything of it until we went into a store.
On 10/6, the rep found that a Port PIN had been generated somehow during this process and my number was going to be disconnected that day. He called support and they assured us it would be fixed the following day. He put me on a temporary number on a new iPhone but had me hang on to my old phone.
I called on 10/8 after hearing nothing and was told they needed a few more days. I scheduled a callback on Friday, 10/11 (no one called); a second one for this morning at 9:30 (again, no call). I've been on the phone with three different agents today and the call has been dropped at the hour mark - EVERY time. The first person told me it was suspended; second disconnected; and the third was going to rebuild my account before that call was disconnected due to "server issues" again.
I'm at my wit's end. I really don't want to lose the number I've had for 20 years...
Please help.
