I work for a corporation that handles activations for our clients. About 2 weeks ago this weird process started when calling the Verizon Activations line, 877-807-4646.
I call Verizon activation > put in MDN > I'm now prompted to enter the account pin > I say I don't have one.
It then says it needs to send a verification to the number > I say nothing. THEN after about 15 seconds it finally takes me through the original IVR prompt to activate.
I'm curious if this is the new process or if there is a glitch that needs to be fixed. Anybody have any insight on this?
