Title is question
I need to activate my phone. I cannot without answering a text. Phone is broken so I can't receive the text.
Customer service says it's closed, but they promised me someone would answer till 10pm ET.
This is infuriating.
Sorry to hear your original device is broken. Let's see what the options are. Is the original device powered off? Are you going from same make to same make? If so which one?

Verizon: How about giving us a second option for 2FA besides texting?
As for the OP's question: I'm not sure, but have you tried going to a corporate Verizon store to see if they can activate your replacement device?
