when an iPhone user sends a text message to an Android user and it says “message send failure” but is able to send images to them, what does this mean?
If the Android user does get your texts eventually, then it's probably a network issue somewhere, either with Verizon or with the other carrier. I saw this briefly happening during the solar eclipse earlier this year - when we hit totality, my texts started getting delayed for a bit and I saw a few error messages about "not sent" because there was just that much traffic on the networks at the time.
[update] Is it that you're unable to text any Android users, or only 1 Android user?
