My 95 year old mother living alone in a rural area has been without a phone now for 4 days, with no relief in sight. Verizon sent a replacement device….but failed to send a SIM card. Now, we await shipment of a SIM card which will take another 3 days. This is after at least 20 hours on the phone or the absolutely ridiculous text/chat help.
In the meantime….family has no way to check on mom. I am livid. God help us all if something happens to my mother.
