I bought the 5g+ home internet on 10/27/24 because of the $200 Amazon gift card incentive. While having it in my cart before I bought it though I got a pop up for a $200 Verizon gift card as an "extra" bonus which is what made me pull the trigger. I get the box a couple days later and set it up no problem. A couple days after that I get an email saying the submission for the Verizon gift card has gone through and to check back later, but nothing for the Amazon gift card.
I check in with support twice asking when should I be getting anything mentioning the Amazon gift card, both times I was told to wait 60 days after setup of the internet before I will receive anything. That sounded fishy though because I was under the impression you had to REDEEM the offer before 60 days. I decided to look into it more today and looks like LOTS of people are having this issue.
The whole point of me even considering this was the Amazon gift card. I don't want to be screwed out of that but its seeming like myself, aswell as many others just might be. I've been told twice that it is showing up on their end but there is absolutely nothing on mine, so I have nothing to show. Hopefully support will see this and we can make things right, because if I have been lied to, and everyone else has been lied to as well, that's not gonna look good for Verizon.
