VERIZON*DIGITAL CHAT E800-922-0204FL charge

I have an unexplained charge of $399.91 on my credit card for "VERIZON*DIGITAL CHAT E800-922-0204FL". I see in a prior thread that others have found these charges for "tax" and other incidentals, but in much smaller amounts. I recently received a new iPhone 16, but cannot imagine what this amount could be for, nor could the phone rep, including after reportedly speaking with the financial department. Anyone?

Not one of 3 representatives have been able to provide an answer to my question. After having reported this to my bank as a fraudulent charge, perhaps their investigation will uncover what it is.

In addition, during the process of trading in my old phone on a new one I was charged for Home Equipment insurance ($25/mo), which was never discussed, and after getting this removed, had my $1000 trade-in deal cancelled, also never discussed. I'm wondering how systemic these purported mistakes are.

I got stinged from verizon for $265 ... this is ridiculous.. .. i am trying to dispute as well. Verizon has not changed about their bill cheatings ....
