I am an existing customer and called to be upgraded from iPhone 14pro max to iPhone 16 pro max. was told and also by Verizon Text that all i would need to pay was$19.68 and activation fee $35.00 per phone . I'm like great I'll do it. The agent tells me which store to go to and schedules my appointment. I go in the store and the sales person looks at my account and literally tells me, "I'm not sure what you and the agent you talked to is trying to pull but you need to pay $968, sooo do you want to pay that amount or cancel your appointment?" Really!!!.
I then called customer service back told them the situation and says yes I see all the notes from the previous call, being put on hold multiple times and finally got a response, Im not sure what to do in this situation other than to tell you to pay the $968 to solve the issue.
Why would you have a customer service person tell you one thing, go to the store and the salesperson is absolutely rude.
