Black Friday Xbox deal

Took me forever to find this forum, But I recently signed up for the Black Friday Home internet Xbox Deal to get the free Xbox series s (even got me a S24 ultra and Series 7 Galaxy Watch) and it said get your offer on Dec 13th for both Xbox gaming bundle and also for the Xbox series s. The claim offered disappeared on my "Make the most of your plans" and was left with the gaming bundle. Either their outta stock or this is a Major lie. AKA unfair or deceptive practices under the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Act. I want my Xbox I was promised. I have screen shots and evidence.

So I signed up for 5g Home plus and mobile. I had issues redeeming the Xbox offer when signing up. The Verizon reps who helped me set up the account told me that I would be able to redeem the offer after I activate the account/device. It has been over two weeks and I am unable to redeem or even view the offer. Has anyone else tried to redeem any Verizon promos? Are the promotions a fraud?

My rep, Mike, was super dope and I was so excited about the offer that I even told my family and friends. But when seeing all the forums added to the in store rep telling me something different then what mike told me it makes me wonder, is this promo just a rip off to boost sales?

After you get Verizon Home WiFi and set it up you’ll see the voucher on your offer screen. But that’s only if you got Verizon home WiFi and hit claim on the Xbox series s. And I believe you had to order the home WiFi on dec 2nd or before. Because I got my voucher for mine on the Verizon app I just have to wait 2 weeks to order the Xbox after getting and setting up the WiFi.

It was ordered October 7th and activated a few days later.

Verizon advertised that customers switching to 5G Home Plus and maintaining their account in good standing for 14 days would be eligible to redeem a free Xbox Series S console. The terms specified that the console must be redeemed within 60 days of eligibility, or by March 16, 2025, whichever comes first.

I switched from Xfinity to Verizon and activated the 5G Home Plus service. After 14 days, I received an email from Verizon stating that the Xbox console was ready for redemption. However, upon logging into my account and following the redemption instructions, the console offer was nowhere to be found.

I contacted Verizon customer support via chat to resolve the issue, but the agent provided an unsatisfactory response and was unable to explain or resolve the matter. This lack of clarity and failure to honor the promotional offer feels misleading.

I subscribed to the Home internet service on 11/22 and was told to wait for an email to get redemption instructions. I got the email in question but when I followed the instructions and went to Account > Make the Most of your Plan to click on a tile for the Xbox S, no such tile exists in my app. I've also tried to look on the desktop site but it's not there either. I've chatted with Support but they were unable to resolve this issue. Anyone know how to resolve this?

Did you ever get your Xbox? I activated my plan on 11/22 and can't find a way to redeem the promo.

Did you ever get the Xbox? I added internet on 11/26 activated it on 11/28. The offer was showing on my account until 12/11 the day before I was eligible to redeem it on 12/12. Haven't been able to redeem it or get a message about it.

The service is currently installed and has been used for more than the 14 day period needed to redeem the "Xbox series s" and "Xbox Gaming Bundle"

I recieved two separate emails as promised to redeem each promotion.

Once you click the link in the email to redeem, you follow the link to your account and follow the instructions. However, there is no tile to click on as the email describes...

It's December 14th, and I was really looking forward to give this gift to my children this year for christmas... So far it's looking grimm.

Sadly, I have the same problem. Orders the home internet on 11.27. Got the email several days ago to redeem but the link in the app not the web site doesn’t exist.
I spent 2.5 hours on the phone with three customers support people telling me to wait 60 to redeem.
after 60 days the offer expires.
This is a classic Bait and S_witch. Criminal.
I have no words to explain my disappointment

The offer is not present on My Verizon account page

I am also facing the same problem with this XBOX Series S promotion. On Dec 11th, 2024, 14 days after I got the Verizon Home Internet I received the mail from Verizon that I can redeem the Xbox Series S through the app. But in the app there was no tile to redeem the offer. This is disappointing, really a very bad way promote a service.

Facing a similar problem. I have the tile showing but when I click on it it says there’s an error and to try again later. Pretty frustrating, when I spoke with someone they assured this would be smooth.

According to the article in the Knowledge Hub, the Xbox promo is a "while supplies last" thing, so maybe they ran out?

If you picked the Netflix option, then you don't get the other option. Or if you've cancelled your internet service already, probably not eligible either.

I transferred my home internet to 5g for the holiday promotion and my rep promised an Xbox Series s upon purchasing. I purchased the internet on Dec 1 and I have yet to see any redeem emails or tiles under deals to claim my Xbox. I know others are also facing issues and I wanted to know if anyone got one or was it just a marketing ploy.

Any resolution? I’m having the same issue.

I’m in the same boat. The representative I signed up with on the phone told me id be able to claim the Xbox immediately. The Verizon application told me I had to way 14 days. So I waited. Here I am on day 14 and I received an email to claim my Xbox but it won’t actually let me claim it. Now I’m being told I have to wait 60 days which as you indicated, the email says the offer is void after 60 days. Absolutely frustrating and will be taking my business elsewhere if they don’t figure it out today.

I received email on 12/11 stating the Xbox was ready to redeem but the tile has not shown up on my account

I am having the same issue. I tried getting help through chat on Fri 12/13 when I received my email saying to redeem my xbox series s, after 2 hours of getting nowhere and wasting my time I gave up. I called customer service on Sat and spent another hour and was told my issue had been escalated and the offer tile would show up on my account after 24-48 hours. I checked back again after the 24 hour mark and again after 48 hours and still nothing. This is so crazy that they would have an offer but make it impossible to redeem. I've been with Verizon for over 21 years and never once ran into an issue like this or worried about them not honoring an offer but I am truly worried that they will not this time. I don't know what else to try. I've spent some much time already trying to get this resolved and was counting on the free xbox as a christmas gift but it doesn't seem like this will get resolved in time for christmas or ever.

How do we go about getting this problem resolved ? I have had my internet for more than 14 days and still don't show the promotion in my account.

I signed up for Verizon 5G Home Internet with a promo offering a free Xbox Series S and a gaming bundle (controller, wireless headset, and $50 Xbox gift card) on 11/27/2024. I got an email saying I could redeem the Series S via "Make the Most of My Plan" and clicking the Xbox tile, but no such tile appears. I also haven’t received info on redeeming the gaming bundle. I’d like to redeem both as soon as possible, ideally by Christmas. Can someone please assist? Thank you.

Regarding my post above: I did chat with the online chat support about this last week, and they told me they submitted a ticket. The case number is *****. Hopefully that helps.

They are now saying it was either or not both because you can’t stack promos like that

Same issue. The tile was there yesterday saying i could redeem the Xbox the 17th(today). Checked and all that is there is the Xbox gaming bundle(headset controller and gift card) which is everything EXCEPT the Xbox itself.

Went to claim my Xbox deal, and it is no longer there. Only showing the gaming bundle which doesnt include the Xbox itself. Feel pretty tricked because it was just there yesterday when i checked. I placed my order on Nov 29 so i know i was well within the window for it.

I’m Having the same issue. Purchased the 5G Home Internet Plus plan on 11/26/24, got the email on 12/16/24 to redeem it and no tile showed up on my “make the most of your plan” absolute rubbish. Called customer service and opened a “ticket”, been with Verizon for over 6 years, I feel like the phone service has turned into absolute garbage, now issues with redeeming my “Free Xbox”, I’m over it. Poverty of a cellular company.

I have spent 8 hours on the phone on the last week trying to figure out why I haven't been able to redeem this promotion. I spent an hour and 15 minutes just now, and STILL have no answers. I had been on the phone with a representative YESTERDAY after 2 hours, and placed a redemption ON THE PHONE with him that was SUCCESSFUL for a replacement shipment as someone had pilfered my other one. THAT redemption went through just fine. But Verizon is blocking me from redeeming THIS one? If it's this incredibly difficult to come to a solution with a company, what does that say about future interactions?

Hi, I’m hoping someone can help without me spending hours on the phone with customer service.

I signed up for the Verizon 5G Home Internet a few weeks ago during the receive a free Xbox promotion. This morning, I finally received my email to redeem the offer. I followed the steps as the email said to but keep receiving an error message.

When I click the offer under the make the most of my plan area, it doesn’t let me redeem the offer. Instead, it takes me directly to a screen on how to redeem offers but it never actually lets me redeem said offer. I have tried doing this both through the website and also through the app.

Is there a way to fix this and redeem my offer? I’m guessing that calling CS will be my best bet? Thank you.

Same things happening to me. I had both offers stating I could redeem today, the 18th. Well today came and I got the email to redeem the gaming bundle but not the Xbox and the tile was removed from my account. I have the email proof stating I’m supposed to get the Xbox, I’ll have a pretty upset fiancé who’s paying our $250 bill if she doesn’t get her Xbox.

YES! I just checked here because they sent me the "Gaming Bundle" after promising me the XBox Series S on Black Friday. This was after a LONG series of chats with customer service who repeatedly botched my order. I had to go into a store to get things sorted out - and probably will again.

Just wanted to give a quick update! Joseph help me through chat through this forum and got the issue resolved, yaaaay! He created a ticket and had it escalated, he said I should receive an email in 5-7 days but it arrived the very next day. It had a promo code in it which I used online after adding the xbox series s to my cart, I chose to pay for expedited shipping and I should have the xbox by Friday. I am having the same issue, I received the email this morning saying I could redeem but there is no tile for me. All I have is the free vix.

The app is not letting me get promotion for the Xbox I call and they keep escalating my claim

We already had verizons phone service but saw that if we got the internet we would get a xbox s series, controller, headset, and $50 xbox gift card. It was ready to claim by 12/15 everytime I went to click redeem it gave me an error message I called verizon they said oh once you pay this bill on the 18th for your phones you can order it. Paid the phone bill went to claim the order another error. Called verizon again and this time they tell me they are out of stock on the xbox that they could just apply the value to my next verizon bill. This bundle was the only present my step son was going to get for christmas. My mom had the same issue claiming her xbox and gaming bundle. They ripped us off. I told them no I dont want the value I want the xbox. The internet is very slow. Not even worth it

I have the same issue here. I could see "redeem Xbox Headset and controller offer" in my account, however, when I went through the redemption process, the page could not proceed to cart with "$0". A week ago, the total price of Xbox Heaset and controller showing in the cart was $127 instead of $0 and since this week, I couldn't even proceed to the cart page. I chatted with online agent a week ago and it was not helpful. Please help.

I am having the same issue. Was on the phone for 2 hours yesterday and the one gentleman was able to push the Xbox bundle thru. While on the phone with him, I didn’t see it in my cart. I went back on the Verizon app later and it was in there and has been shipped. 2 more calls and nobody can help me with getting the actual game. A ticket was put in and Verizon said it would take 3-5 business days to resolve. That takes me to Christmas which means I will not receive my promotion in time for a gift to my son.

I have the same problem. Just spent over an hour trying to figure it out and not much of an answer. I switched over to this because I thought this would make a good gift to my family. Not pleased at all.

I like the others am having the same issue. I ordered on December 2nd to get the promotion, which it said i qualified for. However I got a email saying I can redeem the Xbox bundle that only includes a controller, gift card and headset, but the tile to redeem the actual xbox console is gone. Weird how I can redeem the accessories, but the the console.

This is the same issue for me. I've spoken with 3 different customer service representatives who were very kind and told me they submitted tickets and I should check my email. Store sales people were not helpful. I was also hoping this could be a Christmas present. Would love for someone to have a solution.
