I traveled Tahiti and and Bora Bora(French Polynesia), have 2 lines with Unlimited Ultimate plan, so international roaming with 10GB data is included. Both lines are using iPhone 16 pro Max, they worked perfectly with voice and LTE data the first day, using F-VINI as
The next day morning one line lost data, no LTE logo next to the signal strength bar. Called Verizon, spent 1.5 hours on the phone. They did some provisioning, asked me to reset network settings and restarted a few times, then I got 3G data for that line, the other line still have LTE working fine.
Then in the afternoon, both lines lost data. Called Verizon again the next day and spent another hour , they can’t make it work. I finally gave up and lived without data(voice and text worked)
My daughter use T-Mobile magenta plan, she had the voice and LTE working fine all the time. We just switched to Verizon two weeks ago and have not switched my daughter’s line.
I am so disappointed with Verizon’s roaming network. Seems like they blocked the data after some usage, but they can’t figure why. We travel internationally a lot. We may want to switch back to T-Mobile for this reason.
Anyone had experience like this in PF? Any suggestions?
