How to purchase with gift card

Hello,

I received a Verizon Gift card for christmas and i'm wanting to use it towards the Playstation bundle offered on Verizon.com, yet when i apply the card(it's for $500), The full amount of the purchase it put on my credit card. The bundle is only $450 plus tax so the Gift card is enough.

Is there a number i can call to place the order with the gift card?
